                    morton salt is also nearly twice as dense as diamond crystals, so its very easy to over salt with morton if you dont go by weight.

                                                man anyone else notice she was playing with fire having all that crusted sugar on the side of the pan for the caramel?? normally you wanna avoid that because it’ll trigger crystallization

                                                  I know I'm late but here are some dough tips: refrigerate your dough in the shape of your pan, meaning make a round disk if it's going in a round pan or rectangle in a rectangular pan. Another tip is that if you want to avoid cracking, smack your dough with the rolling pin until it gets to about .25-.5 inches

                                                            I made this and it turned out AMAZING. I'm terrible at rolling pie dough and struggled a bit, but the instructions were clear and really helped. Thanks BA for the great recipe, I'm going to do it again for mother's day :D

                                                            (and also, a request from international viewers, to be even more adored, could the BA recipes pleeeease also have the amounts in the metric system? it would make the life of literally everyone outside the US a lot easier. thank you <3 )

                                                                              Is this a dough you could simply put in the pan and press it around? I'm not great with rolled out crust doughs, so this looks intimidating. Looks amazing when it's all put together. Lots of steps, but I think this is probably worth it. ;) Thanks!

                                                                                          Made this today and found it to be really challenging tbh.
                                                                                          The caramel took FOR EVER to come together and the I (my fault) kinda "burned " the caramel so it became really cristalized. I thought I'd fixed it by just melting it again, but after letting it coll to put into the tarte bottom It'd cristalized again. So Now I have this hella crunchy tarte. Anyone knows what happened? So I can fix it next time I'm up for making a challenging tarte.

                                                                                          Still good I guess, but do not underestimate the difficulty of this tarte.

                                                                                          Looks incredible (havent tasted, as it's a present) but takes a lot of time (3 seperate delicate layers).
